Clothes Collections at Grace-St. Luke’s for Calvary’s “Room in the Inn” Ministry
On Sunday nights from November to January, Calvary Episcopal Church in downtown Memphis hosts “Room in the Inn” (ecumenical overnight ministry that serves people experiencing homelessness) and the congregation serves breakfast to over 200 homeless and poor neighbors on Sunday mornings. This outreach program needs regular donations, specifically men’s clothing, from Grace-St. Luke’s.

Men – Jeans, socks (even single socks), underwear, shoes or sneakers (size 9 or larger for men), sweaters, T-shirts, coats, slacks, warm jackets, rain gear, warm hats and gloves, blankets, sleeping bags, and toiletries.

The “Calvary Room in the Inn Collections” box is located at the GSL LeMaster Street entrance Lobby until January.  Please deliver your donations to be taken to Calvary and spread the word about this important way to partner in servant ministry with others.
