Breakfast by the Crossmen

Beginning May 1 Sunday Schedule Change: 8 a.m. Holy Eucharist and Breakfast by the Crossmen. One of the longest standing traditions at GSL is a delicious home-cooked breakfast on Sunday mornings between the early service and Christian Formation time. We are thrilled to announce the return of Breakfast by the Crossmen as well as our early service moving back to 8 a.m. This service time change allows more time for the early service attendees and the formation attendees to have ample time to visit and enjoy a meal together and is a return to our pre-COVID Sunday morning schedule. The breakfast menu varies slightly depending on the team cooking, but there are always scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, pancakes, biscuits, and gravy. On occasion you will find baked apples, hash browns, tater tots or some other yummy surprise. All are accompanied by milk, orange juice, and the Episcopal morning liturgy of coffee. Breakfast is only $5 per person, so bring some cash or your checkbook and we’ll see you on May 1! Proceeds go to support youth programs at the church.
