Care Like King—MLK Days of Service (Jan. 17-20)

Care Like A King

Once again Volunteer Memphis is sponsoring a community-wide effort to honor Dr. King’s legacy through service projects. There are plenty of opportunities to serve in a manner that fits in with your schedule and interests from Friday, Jan. 17, through Monday, Jan. 20. Just go to the Volunteer United website (tinyurl.com/MLKDaysofService2020) and sign up. Allison and I will participate in the “Beltline Project” cleanup of a vacant lot at 427 Boston (38111) on January 20 starting at 11 a.m. This opportunity is near Midtown. Please join us. -Jim Drummond, GSL Outreach Committee
