The seasons of Advent (November 29–December 24), Christmas (December 25–January 5) and Epiphany (January 6–February 16) will be “one for the books” at GSL and throughout the world in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. In a fusion of traditional and contemporary ways, in person and virtual, life at GSL will include an abundance of worship, formation, fellowship, and service opportunities to enrich faith and spiritual journeys and maintain connections. Advent invites us to slow down and increase introspection in order to be ready for Christmas, the Nativity of our Lord Jesus Christ, and its 12-day journey to the feast of the Epiphany (January 6) when the Church celebrates the divinity of Jesus. All are invited to engage any and all of what is offered and encouraged to share our happenings with others near and far.
