Children's Christmas Pageant

Rehearsal: Sat., Dec. 21, 9:30-10:30 a.m.
Day of pageant:  Participants arrive to Trezevant Hall at 3:15 p.m.
Pageant: Christmas Eve 4 p.m. service with Holy Eucharist

Children 5th grade and younger are invited to be part of this year’s Christmas Pageant taking place in the context of the Liturgy of the Word during the 4 p.m. service on Christmas Eve. Woven among scripture read by children and carols sung by the congregation, the children’s re-enactment of the Nativity will serve as the Gospel reading for this service designed to draw more families with young children.

COSTUMES for all parts will be available in Trezevant Hall prior to the service at 3:15 p.m. Costumes from home are welcome, too!

For our planning purposes, families who wish to participate should RSVP using the Signup Genius link below. Please provide each child’s name and age, then select the part he or she would like to play and indicate whether a costume will be church-provided or coming from home.

For your planning purposes, all participants are encouraged to attend a brief rehearsal on Saturday, Dec. 21, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. We’ll be in the sanctuary for a couple of quick run throughs of the readings and placements for all parts so that the children know what to expect at the service, and have you bustling on your way to the rest of your Saturday activities in no time!

Day-of pageant participants are welcome. Arrive in Trezevant at 3:15 p.m. to choose from available costumes or dress in one from home. Donkeys, dragons, or dinosaurs -- all of God’s creatures will be included!
