Grace-St. Luke’s glorious music program is a treasured part of the worship service for many parishioners. The Chancel Choir provides vocal leadership during the 10:30 Eucharist -- supporting the congregation in traditional hymns and offering inspiring sacred pieces that range from classical chorales to traditional spirituals.

Two children's choirs also rehearse during the academic year and offer their song at occasional 10:30 services. And guest musicians -- from vocalists to string, brass, and wind ensembles -- frequently join the choir during the 10:30 service. In addition, highly anticipated performances, both religious and secular, take place throughout the year.

The inspiring majesty of our music draws and feeds many in our parish.

The Belvedere Chamber Music Festival

The Belvedere Chamber Music Festival is produced by Luna Nova Music and is hosted annually by Grace-St. Luke's. The mission of the festival is to perform masterpieces of 20th century music as well as new works by emerging composers.

In addition to performances, the festival offers educational opportunities for young composers and performers through lectures, masterclasses, and private instruction.

To celebrate Grace-St. Luke's Tiffany Windows, Luna Nova Music commissioned five composers to write new works inspired by these beautiful treasures. These were premiered during the 2010 Festival. Links to the performances are below.
