A Four-Week Lenten Mini-Class Featuring Rabbi Micah Greenstein
March 7th, 2011
Christian and Jews alike share a reverence for the Hebrew scriptures (commonly called the Old Testament), and—during Lent—Grace-St. Luke’s offered our community the opportunity to dig deeper into these extraordinary texts with Rabbi Micah Greenstein, Senior Rabbi of Temple Israel in Memphis.
Rabbi Greenstein has served Temple Israel since 1991, and was named by Memphis Magazine as one of the city’s most significant leaders.
If you missed it, you can watch the series online:
"A Jewish Understanding of the New Testament" - March 20, 2011 (Greenstein)
"A Jewish Understanding of Jesus" - March 27, 2011 (Greenstein)
"God Does Not Dictate: An Anglican View of the Bible" - April 3, 2011 (Lawson)
"A Jewish Understanding of the Resurrection" - April 10, 2011 (Greenstein)
We hope you'll join us at an upcoming Rector's Forum. Classes meet from 9:30-10:15 a.m. in Trezevant Hall at Grace-St. Luke's, Peabody and Belvedere (enter from LeMaster near Peabody.) Come early and you can join us for a hot breakfast for just $5, starting at 8:45 a.m.
All are welcome.
