GSL Delegation Stirred by Diocesan Mens Retreat

Ten GSL parishioners joined men from across the Diocese at the annual Diocesan Men's Retreat at DuBose in August. The group was moved by dynamic keynote speaker Father Jimmy Bartz. The delegation also reports coming in second in the Friday rib-cooking contest and fielding golfers on the second-place golf-tournament team.

The event's success would not have been possible without the hard work of the conference Board, which includes GSL’s Buddy Adams, treasurer, and Jon McCalla, secretary. "We had a great time and met many new folks from around the state," reports Don McLemore. "See you on the Mountain, next year!"
