Forging friendship.

The numerous fellowship groups at Grace-St. Luke's provide opportunities to build friendships.

First Friday Fellowship

First Friday Fellowship is a place where newcomers and newly involved parishioners can connect for fun and fellowship. The group mixes and mingles for lively conversation, libations, and heavy hors d’oeuvres on the first Friday of every month.

For those needing childcare, the church nursery is typically available from 6 - 10 p.m. for infants to age 9 at the affordable price of $15 total for one child, $17 for two, or $20 for three or more (per family). First Friday is coordinated by Kate Garretson.

Third Thursdays

Designed for the empty nest set and those folks who are of that age group, Third Thursday dinners are intended for fellowship and to strengthen the sense of community at GSL.

The plan is simple. Come casually and enjoy renewing old friendships and meeting new friends. We gather for a bit of conversation with wine available, share a meal and have a short speaker the third Thursday of each month—January through May and September through November. The cost is $10.00 per person. We will begin at 6:30 and end no later than 8:30. Having fun and sharing a regular time with each other enables us to include newcomers and to enjoy being with friends we rarely see. Our aim is maximum fellowship with minimum work so that our focus can be on enjoying our friendships. Third Thursdays are coordinated by Mary Linda Wardlaw.

39ers

GSL's senior members' social and fellowship group meetings consist of a catered meal followed by a program. Meetings are held on the second Friday of the month. The 39ers also schedule special events and short trips out of town. The contact is Mary Virginia Rogers or call the church office.
