Instruments of healing in a broken world.

Outreach at Grace-St. Luke's is built on the Gospel imperative to feed the hungry, clothe and shelter the needy, care for the sick, and visit the imprisoned, as well as the Christian call to be an instrument of healing in our broken world.

From ministries to our neighbors in need to efforts in Haiti to important funding for non-profits, Grace-St. Luke's undertakes a number of ongoing efforts and projects that reach out to impact the lives of others.

Reaching out from within

Are you looking for ways to become more involved at GSL? Was your New Year’s resolution to learn about what is going on in the Memphis community? You are in luck! The Outreach Committee has many partner organizations who would love a parishioner to act as liaison. Outreach liaisons are parishioners who keep in contact with their organization over the course of a year. The major responsibility is establishing contact, keeping abreast of ongoing needs, and learning about volunteer opportunities where other parishioners or groups within GSL can become involved. This is an inspiring way to see the good works taking place in Memphis and how GSL is making a difference. For more information please contact Katie Savage (katierue516 [at] yahoo [dot] com) or James Drummond (drummondjamesf@gmail.com or 202-746-1029).
